Apple Spice Praline Bread

Apple Spice Praline Bread

It’s still cool here in PA but it doesn’t matter what time of the year it is… I love anything apple! Maybe it’s my Michigan roots!

The Apple Praline Bubble Bread is a very old recipe that I used to make frequently when I started Pampered Chef and when the Apple Spice Beer Bread Mix came out, I knew I had to try it! As I write this, the mix has been retired so I will be updating this recipe so it doesn’t include the mix soon. If you have some on hand, this is a great recipe to try!

Not only is it sweet but not too sweet, it’s so pretty and when you cut into it, you’ll see the chunks of apples!

Apple Spice Praline Bread
Makes 12 servings

⅓ cup butter or margarine
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped pecans, divided
1 pkg Pantry Apple Spice Beer Bread Mix
1 can beer
1 apple chopped

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In the 1-Qt Micro-Cooker®, microwave the butter on HIGH 30 seconds or until melted.  Stir in the brown sugar and pour the mixture into the bottom of the Fluted Cake Pan, spreading evenly.  Sprinkle half of the pecans over the brown sugar mixture and set aside.
  3. In the 4-Qt Plastic Mixing Bowl, combine the Apple Spice Beer Bread Mix and beer using the Classic Scraper.
  4. Peel and core the apple, then chop using the Food Chopper.  Sprinkle the apples over the batter in the Pan and top with the remaining pecans.  Pour the remaining batter evenly over the apples and pecans.  Bake 30-35 minutes.  Remove from the oven and cool 10 minutes.
  5. Carefully invert onto a serving plate and let stand one minute before removing the Pan.  Cool slightly before serving.

Enjoy!
